A Note from Deanna

Hello Ladies!  I MISS YOU!

I am sure during this past year you have heard catch phrases like these:

"We will get through this together…."

"We are better together…"

"Let’s all pull together…"

They are on signs, posters, and spoken by politicians and news anchors.

Funny thing is…this sentiment isn’t unique to 2020 or to times of pandemics or political/social divisions.  Because although the Lord is always with us we also have a need for “each other” to get us “through”… we’ve always needed community. We are designed relationally by the Lord.  In the garden God said it is not good for man to be alone and in Ecclesiastes we are told that two are better than one!

So ladies, if you are like me and you are missing community and connection, I am excited to invite you to Heart Talk!

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month we are going to be Adventurous, Adaptable, Authentic and A COMMUNITY, as best as we can.  (I love alliteration!)

Paul struggled in his desire for the Colossian believers …that their hearts would be encouraged and knit together in love… (Colossians 2:2)

Paul wanted this for the Colossians and I want it for you, Ladies.  I want you, and me, to have an opportunity to be together, to encourage one another in His word, to share stories of God’s faithfulness in our lives and to lift each other before the throne of the only one that can truly knit our hearts together.

You see Paul knew how the enemy could use discouragement, isolation and apathy to draw us away but he also knew the strength that comes from unity born out of a deep love for one another…yes we are stronger together but together in the Lord…we are Amazing!

So, join us via the zoom link but even better grab a girlfriend or two (as your comfort allows) and create your tiny community and then join our big community.

Come on, let’s make like a big comfy sweater and get knit together!
