summer 2018

This Summer, we’ll be taking a break from our midweek study through John for a special series of studies and discussions focused on ReGeneration Family Traits. Each week, we’ll look at one of specific beliefs, values, and vision that help make us who we are as a church body.

We'll be looking together at important topics like:

  • The Centrality of Jesus Christ
  • The Priority of the Word
  • The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
  • Why Grace Changes Everything
  • Identity/Gender/Sexuality/Marriage
  • Racial Reconciliation
  • Generations/Intergenerational Ministry
  • Things to Come
  • Intervening For Christ

We hope you’ll join us each week, beginning Jun 13, for dinner at 6p, and study and discussion at 7p.

We believe that:

  • There is one living and true God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
  • God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things.
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His substitutionary death on the cross, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended back to the right hand of the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.
  • After Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.
  • All people are, by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.
  • Church government should be simple, rather than a complex bureaucracy. We depend on the Holy Spirit to lead the church, rather than on fleshly promotion.

We await the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and We Believe that the second coming of Christ with His saints to rule on earth will be personal, pre-millennial, and visible.  This motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God's Word, regular fellowship, and participation in adult baptism by immersion and Holy Communion.

We believe in:

  • All of the basic doctrines of historic Christianity.
  • The inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible Word of God.
  • The personal, visible, and pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. He will return with His saints and set up a kingdom of which there will be no end.
  • The gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures, and that they are valid for today if they are exercised within the scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without this love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.

  • Evangelical

“We Seek to Win the Lost” - there is a desire to share the Gospel message in a real and relatable way to those within our circle of influence. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Who We Are

At ReGen, we're individuals on a journey together in fellowship with Jesus Christ.  We face issues and problems, tragedies and victories, together looking for answers that are true and relevant.  We find these answers in a real and growing relationship with Jesus Christ the Son of God, being empowered and directed by the Holy Spirit of God.

We Are. . .

  • Worshippers

“We Worship God in His Fullness” - God created and called us to be Worshippers (1 Chron. 16:29; Ps. 95; Ps. 100; Rev. 4:11; etc.). We come together in corporate worship to express our love, honor, obedience and utter dependence upon Him as God and only Sovereign of our lives.
